Lame

The volcano is lame. In the past two months it has done next to nothing. A few weeks ago there was another overflight. They saw that the lava dome in the crater, which was shiny and new when I saw it, is now broken and half-buried in ash and rubble. It seems like it has just stopped growing. It was a bit of a pity to get all excited for nothing, but at least it has given us more time when we can safely get near and install our equipment.
